De nos jours, et à n’importe quel âge, une radio dentaire panoramique permet en une seule prise de vue – et donc avec le moins de radiations possibles, de connaître l’état de notre dentition. Elle permet, d’une part, de généraliser la prévention dentaire et, d’autre part, d’accéder plus rapidement aux soins des patients. Cet atlas propose de présenter les principales radiographies dont on se sert habituellement, le but étant d’apprendre à reconnaître les différents signes pathologiques, ceci afin de comprendre et soigner le mieux possible d’importants problèmes. Un chapitre est consacré entièrement aux radiographies classiques et leurs pathologies. Les autres chapitres sont consacrés essentiellement sur le fait que la radiographie dentaire, et sa pathologie, dépendent et varient considérablement selon le sexe et l’âge de la personne. Les examens et les soins seront, à chaque fois, différents.
